Ukraine selects Shell and Chevron to develop Oleske, Yuzivske shale gas fields.

Ukraine has determined the winners of a tender to sign an agreement on the development of the Oleske shale gas field in Lviv region and the Yuzivske gas field in Donetsk region. The inter-agency commission for organizing competitions for conclusion of production sharing agreements (PSAs) has selected the Anglo-Dutch Shell group as the winner of a competition to sign a production sharing agreement for the Yuzovske shale-gas deposit (Donetsk and Kharkiv regions) and selected the Chevron company (United States) as the winner of the competition to sign a production sharing agreement for the Olesske shale-gas deposit (Lviv region).
