Ukraine, China agree on long term strategic partnership.

President Viktor Yanukovych and Leader of China Hu Jintao have signed a joint declaration of Ukraine and the People's Republic of China concerning comprehensive enhancement of the Ukraine-China relations and development of the strategic partnership between the two States. According to the statement, Yanukovych and Jintao see new favourable opportunities in the Ukraine-China relations at the current stage. Further enhancement of the bilateral relations and comprehensive expansion of the cooperation in all sectors meet the interests of the two States and the two nations. As reported, Viktor Yanukovych on Thursday arrived to China for a five-day state visit.
