UAEs Drydocks World to build undersea hotels across MENA.

UAEs Drydocks World has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Swiss BIG InvestConsult AG to develop undersea hotels across the Middle East, the company said in a statement on its website. Under the agreement, Drydocks World is appointed as the exclusive main contractor for construction of the new concept hotels and cities floating in the Middle East. BIG InvestConsult operates in the area of innovative technologies transfer, as well as investment projects, brokerage and finance. The Swiss company holds the technology rights to build the Water Discus Hotel, a project unique in technology and concept. The hotel features the discus-shaped residential underwater building connected to another discus above water.
