U.S. Steel Serbia opens USD 5mn servicing unit.

U.S. Steel Serbia has opened a new servicing facility at its cold rolling mill in Smederevo, Blic daily reported. The new unit is worth over USD 5mn and will be operated by Serbian Roll Service Company (SRCS), a joint venture equally owned by U.S. Steel Serbia and Canadian Court Holdings. The 1,300 square metres facility will offer services to other Smederevo-based firms as well. According to the CEO of U.S. Steel Serbia Matthew Perkins, SRCS currently employs six workers.
