Trade volume between Russia and Kazakhstan grows 30.6% y/y in 2011.

Trade turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan increased by 30.6% y/y to USD 19.766bn in 2011, the Russian Customs Service has informed. Exports of Russian goods to Kazakhstan increased by 20.7% y/y to USD 12.907bn while imports of Kazakh goods surged by 52.2% y/y to USD 6.859bn. Significantly, Russia and Kazakhstan are members of the Customs Union which started operation in Jul 1, 2010.
