Total TV to invest EUR 45mn in satellite TV in Bulgaria.

Total TV, part of private equity investment firm Mid Europa Partners, announced plans to invest EUR 45mn in the country. The investment will include the takeover of ITV Partner, the repayment of its debt and expenditures on its development. Mid Europa Partners bought satellite pay TV operator Interaktivni Tehnologii AD, traded as ITV Partner and now rebranded to Total TV, in 2009, but the price of the deal and the acquired stake were not unveiled. Total TV provides direct-to-home paid satellite TV services to 50,000 households as of April 1. Total TV also operates in Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Serbia , Macedonia , Slovenia and Montenegro .
