Telekom Slovenije hikes capital of Montenegro's SIOL.

Telekom Slovenije said it has hiked by EUR 0.32mn the capital of its Montenegrin subsidiary, Podgorica-based SIOL, via a new share issue. The funds will be invested in the purchase of network that is part of a regional optical network construction project, Telekom Slovenije said on its website. The Slovenian telecom remains the only shareholder in SIOL. SIOL doo Podgorica was established by Telekom Slovenije in August 2011 for the purpose of constructing a regional fibre optic network through Montenegro. In its statement, Telekom Slovenije also said it has raised the capital of its Bosnian unit - Sarajevo-based SIOL, by EUR 1.5mn and of its Macedonian company, Digi Plus Multimedia Dooel, by EUR 2mn.
