Telefonija issues first long-term corporate bond in Serbia.

Telecommunications firm Telefonija issued first long-term corporate bond in Serbia, worth EUR 500,000 and maturing in 4 years, the company announced. This was a closed issue, as Telefonija issued the papers to insurance company Wiener Stadtische. The raised funds will be used for the company's gas infrastructure construction project and upgrade of the offered internet services. The bonds are bearing interest rate of 7.5% plus 12-m Euribor. Telefonija also said it plans to issue more corporate bonds in private placements to other investors. Telefonija operates as a system integrator in the fields of telecommunication and information technologies in Serbia.
