Tadic says both Serbia and Croatia should drop genocide lawsuits.

By bne IntelliNews January 6, 2010
Serbia's president Boris Tadic said both Serbia and Croatia should drop the genocide lawsuits they have filed against each other at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague . We recall that Croatia filed a suit against Serbia in 1999, accusing it of genocide during the 1991-95 Balkan war, which killed thousands of people. Serbia has responded with a countersuit filed on Jan 4. Tadic expressed belief that there was started after Serbs rebelled against Croatia 's decision to split from the former Yugoslavia in 1991.
