T-Mobile Hungary has expanded its 4G/Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, which now fully covers Budapest territory, making broadband mobile network available to 99% of residents, the company informed on its website. The network coverage in the whole country has reached 27% of total Hungarian population. The company plans to expand the network to cover the entire country territory by the end-2013. T-Mobile launched its 4G high-speed mobile Internet services on January 2, 2012, becoming the first telecommunications company to offer such services on the local market. T-Mobile set up the network in cooperation with Swedish Ericsson. The 4G/LTE mobile network offers higher uploading and downloading speed, which in turns makes the use of online applications and games easier, and allows the simultaneous use of several programmes. |
