Switzerland to extend EUR 54.5mn to Bulgaria.

Bulgarian EU fund utilisation minister Tomislav Donchev and the President of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard signed a framework agreement under the Bulgarian-Swiss cooperation programme, the Council of Ministers said on its website. The document envisages the allocation of BGN 106.5mn (EUR 54.5mn) to Bulgaria to be used in the following areas: security, stability and reforms support, environment and infrastructure, private sector enhancing, and human resources development and social activities. The first projects are to be launched by December.
