Economy minister Zafer Caglayan said that Spanish construction firm FCC and energy companies Gas Natural and Red Electrica consider investments in Turkey, without providing details. The combined revenues of the three companies is more than EUR 18bn, employing around 110,000 people, according to Caglayan. A Turkish delegation headed by PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan had meetings with CEOs of a number of Spanish companies in Spain this week. The Spanish firms, currently doing business in Turkey, such as BBVA, CAF, Mapfre, Mango, Tecnicas Reunidas and Gestamp are satisfied with the business environment and would like to expand their operations, Caglayan also said. |
