South African protestors clash with police near Johannesburg

South Africanprotesters cashed with police this week, killing one policeman near Johannesburg. The police are reported to have fired rubberbullets and canons to quell protests in shanty towns. Reuters reported that theprotestors want to pressure the ruling ANC party to improve healthcare,housing, education, roads and water.
