Soravia mulls EUR 100mn wind energy project in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania.

Austria's investment group Soravia is preparing a wind energy project worth over EUR 100mn, which will be implemented on the territories of Bulgaria, Macedonia and Albania, Soravia's managing partner of the local unit Valeri Atanasov told Dnevnik Daily. As a whole, the company has conditioned renewable energy investments in the country on the adoption of the renewable energy law, which is still pending approval of the parliament. Soravia is also interested in the food industry and the real estate business in Bulgaria. Soravia will target the acquisition of a food producer and has put a ceiling on the investment of EUR 10-15mn. Soravia has set up Soravia Management Bulgaria to offer services in the fields of the project management and the facility management. The company has invested some EUR 140mn in Bulgaria in the past 12 years.
