Software firm Asseco Poland's backlog rises by 14% y/y.

Consolidated backlog of Europe's seventh-biggest software vendor Asseco Poland is worth of PLN 5,289mn (EUR 1,265mn), which is a rise of 14% y/y, according to the firm's president Adam Goral. The backlog includes orders for the firm's proprietary software and services totalling PLN 4,057mn, which I by 19% more than a year ago. Asseco Poland has presented its Q3 results. Its consolidated net profit was PLN 83mn, thus beating market consensus of PLN 75mn. In Q 1-3 of 2012, the group's net profit was PLN 278mn on sales of 3,995mn.
