Socar to purchase 26 filling stations in Ukraine.

Socar Ukraine, a unit of State Oil Co. of Azerbaijan, agreed to buy 26 gasoline filling stations and an oil depot owned by Atikva Estate to expand in Ukraine. In the future, Socar plans to rebrand the acquired assets according to their own corporate standards. In early July, Socar expanded its network of filling station in Ukraine to 30 complexes. In April, the company opened its first filling station in Odessa region. In addition to the 30 gas stations operating under the brand Socar, the company also has a number of previously acquired systems, which have not yet re-branded.
