Slovenian foundry mulls expansion in Bosnia.

Slovenian foundry Mariborska Livnica Maribor (MLM) is considering opening a subsidiary in Bugojno, announced from the company. The local company, MLM Alutec, should be opened in April. The parent company will transfer in the newly established company the workers and the equipment of Bugojno-placed Unipress. The firm should produce some 1,200 tonnes of metal in 2010 and generate revenues of EUR 3.9mn (KM 7.6mn). The realised turnover should increase to EUR 7mn in 2011, according to the plans.
