Slovakia to spend EUR 10.15mn on March early elections.

The Slovak government will allocate EUR 10.15mn for the early elections scheduled for March 10, 2012, SITA news agency reported. A total of EUR 8.6mn will be given to the Interior Ministry to use them for salaries of the members of the election commissions, for printing and distributing election ballots and information materials, securing the operation of election commissions, equipping polling rooms, their protection and public order protection on the day of the vote. The remaining EUR 1.5mn will be allocated to the Statistics Office for preparation and processing of the election results.
