Slovakia set the terms on two new issues of 6-year and 10-year Swiss franc-denominated bonds, seeking to sell a total of CHF 425mn (EUR 353.6mn) of the papers, the finance ministrys Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) said. ARDAL has issued CHF 325mn in 6-year bonds, which bear a fixed annual coupon of 2.175% and mature on April 25, 2018. It hopes to sell CHF 100mn of the bond that matures on April 25, 2022 and carries a fixed annual coupon of 2.750%. ARDAL plans to list the bonds that have a par value of CHF 5,000 each on the SIX Swiss Exchange and to maintain the listing during the whole life of the bonds. The franc issue is part of Slovakia's move to broaden its base of investors by diversifying away from euro-denominated debt. In February ARDAL issued CZK 12.5bn (EUR 504.6mn) worth of a koruna-denominated floating-rate bond maturing on September 2, 2015. |
