Slovakia launches EUR 56.09mn tender for 7km bypass.

Slovakias National Highway Company (NDS) has launched a public tender for the project development and construction of a nearly 7km long R2 expressway bypass of the town of Ziar Nad Hronom in central Slovakia, Webnoviny reported. The costs for the design and construction of the bypass are estimated at EUR 56.09mn without value added tax (VAT). The project is planned to take two years and to be financed by EU funds and the government budget. Interested construction companies and consortia can request documentation by June 6, 2012 and should submit their offers by July 20, 2012.
