Serbia might be a partner in the Bulgarian-Russian project for the construction of the nuclear power plant Belene in Bulgaria, Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov said. Borisov expects the talks to be finalised in September. The construction of the plant is valued at some EUR 4bn. Earlier in the year, Serbian energy minister Petar Skundric had said that Serbia could finance 5% of the project. Serbian PM Mirko Cvetkovic said earlier that the cabinet had not reached a decision on taking part in the project yet, adding that an expert analysis was being conducted on the issue.
