Serbia could become WTO member in 2013.

By bne IntelliNews July 10, 2012
Serbia is wrapping up its negotiations with the World Trade Organisation and could finally become its member in 2012, economy minister Nebojsa Ciric was quoted as saying in a government statement. He was speaking at the 24th regional training course of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) held in Belgrade. Ciric reminded that Serbia's WTO talks have been underway for two years. The negotiations have been slowed down only by Ukraine, which seeks free steel exports to Serbia - something Serbia cannot afford, Ciric said.
