Sberbank Kazakhstan eyes 40% growth in loan portfolio.

Sberbanks Kazakh subsidiary plans to expand its loan portfolio by 40% next year as the countrys economy recovers. State-controlled Sberbank was founded in Kazakhstan in 2006. Sberbank Kazakhstans assets increased from KZT 219.6bn as of the beginning of the year to KZT 240.8bn (USD 1.6bn) as of the end of September. Sberbank ranks 11th among Kazakh banks in terms of assets.
