Samsung to channel USD 161mn in R&D center in Ukraine by 2015.

Samsung Electronics intends to invest USD 161mn in Research and Development Centre in Ukraine by 2015, reads a report made by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, citing the director of the Samsung Electronics Ukraine Research and Development Centre Yong Yun Kim. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Kim Eun-joong, announced this during a meeting of first deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Valentyn Dulub and chairman of the regional council, Serhii Chernov, with representatives of the Samsung Electronics Ukraine Research and Development Centre. Samsung Electronics has plans of a large-scale research and development centre in Kharkiv by March 2013, stressed Kim Eun-joong.
