SamrukKazyna plans new chemical projects in Kazakhstan.

SamrukKazyna plans to set up a few new chemical projects in Kazakhstan by 2014. The projects will be implemented through United Chemical Company which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the fund. It is planned to realize 11 project worth USD 1bn. The list includes creation of a production line of caustic soda and chlorine, phosphorus trichloride and glyphosate (herbicide) will take place in the industrial zone of the city of Shymkent. Total cost of this project is USD 250mn.
