Sales of Nestle Bulgaria rise 2% last year.

The sales of countrys leading chocolates and food producer Nestle Bulgaria increased by 2% to BGN 260mn (EUR 132.9mn) last year, investor.bg reported. Its profit surged by 161% to BGN 20mn, respectively. The number of the employed in the company went up to 1,462 at the end of December last year from 1,427 a year earlier. The ice-cream sales of the other Nestle subsidiary in the country, Nestle Ice Cream Bulgaria, decreased by 1.6% to BGN 40.6mn in 2010 while its loss expanded to BGN 2.7mn from BGN 1.25mn a year earlier.
