Russian PM Vladimir Putin intends to visit Ukraine on Apr 12. The last time that Putin visited Ukraine was in July 2010. We should note that Russia continues to urge Ukraine to join customs union between Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. In his turn, Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych admits Ukraine's participation in the customs union is possible if all the interstate procedures are met. At the same time, EU Commissioner Stefan Fuele pointed out that creation of a free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU, to which Ukraine aspires, was incompatible with Ukrainian membership in the Customs Union within the Common Economic Space.
