Petromanas Energy plans EUR 12mn seismic programme in Albania in Q4.

International oil and gas company Petromanas Energy announced plans to invest some EUR 11.8mn in a seismic programme at its operations in Albania in Q4, the company said on its website. Petromanas has already started the seismic operations on Blocks D-E and Blocks 2-3. The project covers 254 km of 2D seismic survey. The exploration analysis of the seismic data continues on schedule, which will enable Petromanas to launch drilling operations in 2011, the company said. Petromanas holds 100% working interest in three Production Sharing Contracts in Albania covering 1.7mn acres of onshore blocks in central Albania. This area is estimated to contain some 25bn barrels of P50 oil-in place and 6.1bn barrels of P50 prospective oil resource.
