Petromanas Energy completes seismic program on Albanian Blocks 2-3.

Canada-based oil and gas company Petromanas Energy has completed 2D seismic operations on onshore exploration Blocks 2-3 in Albania, the company said in a press release. The project covered 99 km of 2D seismic survey. The company has already completed seismic operations on Blocks D-E, which cover a 105-km area. Petromanas remains on schedule for the planned completion of the technical studies leading to a drilling campaign in late 2011 or early 2012. It holds a 100% working interest in three Production Sharing Contracts in Albania covering 1.7mn acres of onshore blocks in central Albania. The area is estimated to contain some 25bn barrels of P50 oil-in place and 6.1bn barrels of P50 prospective oil resource.
