Passenger traffic of air carrier Wizz Air surges 76% in Bulgaria last year.

The number of passengers carried by the low-cost air operator Wizz Air to and from local airports surged by 76% to 590,000 last year. The total passenger traffic of the carrier increased by 33% to 7.8mn last year and is expected to reach 10mn until end-December. Wizz Air intends to launch new flights between the capital Sofia and Paris , Frankfurt, Bologna and Madrid three times per week as of May 22.
