Over 1mn Serbians benefit from remittances.

More than 1mn Serbians receive remittances from their relatives abroad, B92 reported, quoting migration minister, Srdjan Sreckovic. Remittances accounted for 15% of Serbian GDP on average over the last three years. Foreign remittances have helped to preserve the macroeconomic stability and the dinar exchange rate in the crisis years, Sreckovic added.
