Number of passengers using air transport in Montenegro falls in November 2011.

The number of passengers using air transport in Montenegro dropped by 7.2% y/y to a total of 53,912 in November, following the 0.6% annual decrease reported in the previous month, the statistical office reported. Transport of passengers by road also declined - by 6.9% y/y, accelerating from 4.4% y/y drop in October. Transport of passengers by rail however surged 25% y/y in November. Transport of goods, measured in terms of tonnes transported, contracted on an annual basis in all categories.
