New industrial park worth EUR 10mn to be built in Slovakia.

The municipality of Ruzomberok approved a project for the construction of a new industrial park, the city mayor Michal Slastan announced. Total investment costs for the project were estimated at EUR 10mn and it should create 200 new job positions. Financing from the own budget of the municipality was expected at EUR 530,000 as the municipality planned to apply for a non-refundable contribution from the EU funds as well as from the state budget. Construction was to be launched already in 2010 in case the application for financing was approved. The park was to be situated at a brownfield location at the premises of the Slovak Bus Transport Company. It would offer services to investors from the transport and construction sectors.
