New industrial orders in Romania up 17.6% in Oct 2012.

New orders in Romanias industry grew 17.6% y/y in October 2012 after declining by 10.2% y/y in September, data from the statistics office showed. The growth was supported by increases in all sectors - intermediate goods (+20.7%), durable goods (+17.9%), consumer goods (16.8%) and capital goods (15.6%). On an annual basis, new industrial orders in October 2012 were 7.8% higher on the year but the growth eased from Septembers monthly rise of 12.4%. In January to October, industrial orders edged up by 0.9% y/y.
