New car registrations in Montenegro up 6% y/y in March 2012.

The number of new road vehicle registrations in Montenegro rose by 6.1% y/y to 1,036 in March, after declining by 19.9% y/y in Feb, statistics office data showed. The total number of registered cars and trailers however dropped by 4.4% y/y to EUR 15,604 in March. The largest share of the vehicles in the country (60.3%) are at age of over 10 years and some 18.2% are produced in 2006 or sooner.
