Net profit of Erste's Croatian unit up by 0.5% y/y in 2010.

The net profit of Erste Group's Croatian unit, Erste&Steiermaerkische Bank, increased by 0.5% y/y to HRK 610bn in 2010, the bank said in a statement on its website. The operating income grew by 9.4% y/y to HRK 2.1bn in 2010. The bank's assets surged by 3.2% y/y to HRK 50.51bn as at end-2010. The net interest income rose to HRK 1.606bn in 2010 from HRK 1.408bn in 2009. The credit portfolio expanded by 7.9% y/y to HRK 35.02bn.
