Poland's total foreign debt increased to EUR 272.09bn at the end of Q3 of 2012 from EUR 264.10bn a quarter earlier and compared to EUR 248.51bn a year earlier, according to the data of the National Bank of Poland (NBP). At the end of September of 2012, long-term debt totalled EUR 216.57bn, while short-term debt was EUR 55.52bn. Enterprises' foreign debt was EUR 108.31bn vs. EUR 107.20bn a quarter earlier, while the general government sector's foreign debt was EUR 109.80bn vs. EUR 102.07bn, respectively. At that time, the banking sector's foreign debt dropped to EUR 48.29bn from EUR 28.82bn a quarter before. |
