By bne IntelliNews June 19, 2012
Bulgaria's state energy commission has approved a 4.88% increase in the price of natural gas as of July 1, Standart News reported. The upward correction is below the request of Bulgaria's natural gas supplier Bulgargaz for a 15.73% price increase. Natural gas in the country will cost BGN 733.23, VAT excluded (EUR 374.89) per 1,000 cubic metres, following the changes, up from BGN 699.1 currently. This rise will not reflect into higher heating prices in the country.
