Naftogaz Ukrainy selects Baker Tilly Ukraine to appraise gas transport system.

The Naftogaz Ukrainy has selected Baker Tilly Ukraine (Kiev) to appraise the value the Ukrainian gas transport system. The winner proposed the price of UAH 4.1mn. Baker Tilly Ukraine has to assess the value of the assets of the Ukrainian gas transport system, including its underground gas storage and infrastructure facilities, by August 1, 2012. Proposals for participation in a tender to choose an appraiser of the Ukrainian gas transport system were submitted by four companies: Thomas & Simonova (Kyiv, Ukraine), Duff & Phelps (New York, the United States), Baker Tilly Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine) and Ernst & Young (Kyiv, Ukraine). The Ukrainian gas transport system was assessed twice. In 2007, the Image consulting firm called the price of USD 24 bn. In 2009, the Uvecon consulting company decided that the value of the gas transport system does not exceed USD 10 bn.
