Montenegro tourist arrivals fall by 14.8% y/y in October.

The number of tourists arriving to Montenegro fell by 14.8% on the year to 28,709 in October, data from the statistics office showed. In September, the number of tourists increased by 7.7% y/y. The number of domestic tourists shrank by 20.2% y/y in October, following the marginal annual rise a month earlier. Foreigners, visiting the country, fell by 13.1% y/y, compared to the 8.9% y/y growth in September. The overnight stays reached 124,167 in the month and were by 13.5% lower on the year. Domestic overnights fell by 0.9%, while foreign ones shrank by 17%. In Jan-Oct, a total of 1,231,777 tourists visited the country, up by 4.5% y/y. They made 7,853,621 overnight stays during the same period, up 5.5% y/y.
