Montenegro's retail trade with motor vehicles down 37.1% y/y in Sep 2012.

Montenegro's retail trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles dropped by 37.1% y/y (in constant prices) in September after falling an annual 31.8% in August, according to data published by the statistics office. In monthly terms, the sector shrank by 9.1% following a 2.9% monthly drop in August. When calculated in current prices, trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles dropped by 37.4% y/y in September. The cumulative figures since the start of the year indicate a 19% annual decline (in current prices). Retail trade with parts and equipment for motor vehicles also shrank by an annual 58.7% y/y in September.
