Montenegro's retail sales up 12.5% y/y in Feb 2012.

Montenegro's retail trade rose by 12.5% y/y (in constant prices) in Feb 2012, up from revised 16.9% y/y in Jan, according to data published by the statistics office. In monthly terms, the sector shrank by 2.2%, following 16.8% monthly drop in Jan. Retail sales stayed above their year-ago level during all 12 months of 2011 and the retail trade turnover index ended the year up 31.7% y/y.
