Montenegro's Port of Bar sees 22% hike in cargo volume in 2011.

Montenegro's' main sea port, Port of Bar (Luka Bar), expects a 22% y/y hike in cargo volume in 2011 from last year's 1.047mn tonnes, SEEbiz quoted the port's executive director Slobo Pajovic as saying. The 2010 cargo volume was by 36% higher than that, processed in 2009. The port posted an EUR 1.8mn after-tax profit in 2010, up by 19% y/y. The executive director also announced EUR 4mn worth of planned investment in infrastructure that would boost the technical capacity.
