Montenegro's construction sector expands 12% y/y in Q3 2012.

Montenegro's construction sector returned to growth in Q3 2012 after contracting by 23.7% y/y in the second quarter of 2012, statistics office data showed. The index of finalised construction works rose by 12% y/y in the third quarter of the year. Developments in new orders however indicate contraction in the sector as new orders on buildings fell by 73% y/y in Q3. New orders on other buildings also dropped by 64% y/y after declining by 30.2% y/y in the second quarter of 2012. In 2011, growth of works value decelerated to 10.2% y/y, down from 13.1% y/y in 2010.
