Montenegro will receive USD 80mn development policy loan from the World Bank to support its budget, the finance ministry announced on Friday, January 27. The repayment period is 20 years, including a grace period of 5 years and the interest rate is linked to six-month EURIBOR (currently 2.7%) plus 0.8%. Talks with the bank over extending the funds started in 2009 and the approval of the loan was conditional on the achievement of a "satisfactory degree of macroeconomic stability and stabilisation in the financial and banking system." |
