Montenegro has completed the second round of negotiations with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in respect to the signature of a free trade agreement, economy ministry informed. The talks focused on customs issues, intellectual property, agricultural agreement, access to the market of goods, and the lists of exceptions related to the basic agricultural products, processed agricultural products, as well as fish and other seafood. The expected trade liberalisation should result in a rise of the turnover with the EFTA members, while it would also lead to an overall improvement of the import's and export's structure, the economy ministry noted. The third round of talks is to take place in July 2011 in Podgorica, when it is expected the negotiations to be finalised. |
