Montenegro has completed the first round of negotiations on the signature of a free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which comprises Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland, Mina news agency informed. The talks focused on the trade in goods and services, tax reliefs, intellectual property, public procurement, payments and movement of capital, sustainable development and origin regulations, according to information from the economy ministry. The expected trade liberalisation should result in a rise of the turnover with the EFTA members, while it would also lead to an overall improvement of the import's and export's structure, the economy ministry noted. |
