Montenegro, Bulgaria may launch joint venture for energy transmission to Italy.

Montenegro and Bulgaria may establish a joint venture for transmission of electricity to Italy through the submarine cable connecting Montenegro and Italy, the Montenegrin government informed on its website. The projects was discussed at the meeting between Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov and Montenegrin PM Igor Luksic, held in Montenegro on October 21. PM Boyko Borisov also reconfirmed Bulgaria's support for Montenegro's EU membership and noted that he would restate Bulgaria's positive stance once again in Brussels in December.
