Modine Manufacturing starts building EUR 10mn car parts plant in Hungary.

US vehicle components maker Modine started the construction of an EUR 10mn plant in Mezokovesd, northeastern Hungary, MTI news agency reported. The 5,400 square metres factory will manufacture engines that comply with the Tier IV and EURO 6 emission requirements. The car parts will be used by Daimler, Deutz and MAN commercial vehicles. The unit is expected to start operation in a year. It will create about 600 workplaces. Modine Manufacturing opened its first subsidiary in Gyongyos ten years ago.
