M&A advisory Ascendant Capital plans to wrap 7 deals in Bosnia, Croatia.

Croatian M&A advisory Ascendant Capital Advisors plans to wrap up at least 7 deals in Bosnia and Croatia in the course of 2010, M&A newswire DealWatch informs. The Croatian company has currently 12 active deals involving 9 Bosnian companies and 9 Croatian firms, managing director Jurgis Oniunas stated for the newswire. All of the deals concern sale of majority stakes. Their combined value is estimated at EUR 200mn. The biggest single one is for EUR 50mn, while the smallest is for EUR 10mn. The name of the particular companies were not specified, but it was pointed out that the projects concern real estate companies, a pharmaceuticals company, an IT firm, regional consolidation of security companies, and water and juice manufacturing and bottling, among others. At least 3 of the projects are expected to be finalised already by end-March.
